Plug in the 3.5mm cable to the input on your projector

Sound is the single most important thing for making a movie theater great. It can take your movie from being at home to being in a theater setting. A firestick is putting out sound, but you need some special equipment to connect it to your projector.

"how do i get sound from my firestick to my projector".I'm not sure how you got your question buried in this blog post, but I'm happy to help! There are two ways of getting sound from your device (Firestick) and projecting it onto your projector.

The first way is with an HDMI cable, which plugs into both devices. This can come in handy if you have a newer model of Firestick that doesn't have a headphone jack. The second way one could use would be using Bluetooth or AirPlay. The latter two methods use your mobile device to play the content on your Firestick (viz. when you stream something from Netflix, Prime Videos, etc).

Taking the first method of connecting both devices via HDMI, it would be a simple matter of getting a high-speed HDMI cable (make sure it's no older than 2011-2012 since those versions had issues with transmission and packet loss) and plugging it into both devices.

If you do not have an extra HDMI cable at hand, I would recommend using your computer or laptop to connect via Bluetooth/AirPlay. This is equally as simple, as all you have to do is hook up your Firestick to your laptop or computer via USB/HDMI ports and then launch the app Netflix, Prime Videos, etc.
